Eye Glasses for Computer Use:

Are you on the computer for several hours a day? This can produce the symptoms of eye fatigue and eye strain. Sometimes, the best solution for the problem is computer glasses that are engineered to see the computer most clearly with a straight forward head position. No more searching for just the right spot in your progressive lenses, it should be right in front of you! Please ask your doctor about this option for you.

Eye Glasses for those with blurred vision at distance and near activities:

Individuals who have difficulty without glasses for both distance and near may require bifocals or progressive lenses (no line bifocals). Progressive lenses gradually change their prescription from the top of the glasses to the bottom. These are great for most activities but can be frustrating for any single activity. To learn more, please discuss your needs with our knowledgeable staff.

Eye Glasses for Children:

The most important aspect of children’s eyewear is a proper fit which can only be achieved with a knowledgeable optician. Fitting children from toddlers to teens requires the use of materials to provide clarity, durability, and safety.

Eye Glasses for Sports:

While enjoying your favorite sport we can write a prescription for proper eyewear that will allow you to have sharp vision while protecting your eyes from the untimely elbow, foot, or fast ball. We also have sports specific fits for special needs such as golf. Please ask us for more information.

If you have never had to wear glasses to see well at a distance, eventually you will need glasses to see well at near. This is presbyopia. Presbyopia is related to aging changes with the body’s natural lens. We can fit you with glasses to help accommodate these natural changes.
